Join With Us to Provide Support for the People of Ukraine

Kangaroo Self Storage stores across Scotland and the NW of England will be drop off points for donations and contributions to help the people caught in the Ukraine conflict.  We are accepting donations for a delivery that will leave on 28^th March 2022.  Future deliveries will take place in April.

As part of a coordinated effort by the UK’s Self Storage Association, Kangaroo Self Storage stores will be drop off points for donations.  Donations will be accepted during opening hours 7 days a week.  Opening hours at all stores are:

Mon-Fri: 8am – 6pm, Sat: 9am – 5pm, Sun:  10am – 2pm, (Preston is 9am - 5pm only)

The following items only are requested:

1. Hygiene items – for children, women and men
2. Basic medicines and dressings for wounds
3. Dry food and beverages, including bottled water

Donation boxes for each item are in our loading bays.  Please sort your items into the appropriately named box to speed up the packing and sorting process ahead of delivery.

Chief Executive of Kangaroo Self Storage, Chris Stevens, said, “We recognize that we are uniquely placed to be able to help, and we want to do our bit.  We have the space to store donations and through our trade body, the Self Storage Association we have links with removals companies that have kindly donated space on their articulated lorries to make the delivery.

“The teams in our stores are ready to accept any donations now.  We will then be coordinating delivery to our fellow association members, Fleet Removals, who will ensure each donation is transported to the Poland-Ukrainian border and distributed to those that need help most.  There will be deliveries throughout the months of March and April.

“Please join with us and help support the people of Ukraine.”
